The Service Support Battalion (SSB) is a unit of the University of the Philippines Reserve Officers Training Corps (UPROTC).
They consist of two platoons, the Medics and the Military Police (MP).
SSB has been a leader in supplying technological innovations into the Corps starting from the On-line Login (OLLI) System provided by Yahoo Groups™
to the first Battalion oriented website.
The Battalion is also a consistent champion in the Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (AATI) of the National Capitol Region (NCR) and seconding the AATI National Level.
The Battalion also has their own newsletter, Kadêt which is published monthly and is provided free of charge. It is circulated UPROTC wide.
The Battalion also won the 1999-2000 Battalion Competition under the
command of Capt. Sacdalan. This is the first time in the history of the
UPROTC for the SSB to win the Bn Competition.
